"CAPTIVATING" AND "ENCHANTING" EL NIDO PALAWAN

Located in the northern most part of mainland Palawan covering a total of approximately 50,000 hectares of land, El Nido is one of the jewels of Palawan.  Its unrivaled beauty rests on its massive limestone islands, bordered by powder-fine beaches, with cliffs jutting from translucent waters.  El Nido is a unique travel destination well-suited for those who want to commune with nature.  It was first declared a marine reserve and later a protected area by the Philippine government.
There are at least six lagoons in EL NIDO, the most famous and easily accessible are the BIG and SMALL Lagoons at Miniloc Island. Believed to be cave whose roofs collapsed millions of years ago, the Big and Small Lagoons are best explored on a kayak or while snorkeling.
Other attractions are Marble Cliffs, Makinit Hot Springs, Cudugnon and Ille Caves located in Bigan, Island in Bacuit Bay, Gintungawan Island, Turtle Island, Bulalakaw Falls, Ipil Beach, Commando Beach, Shimizu Reef and Daracuton Reef.
Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts announces that it is to manage Huma Island resort – a private island in the heart of the stunning archipelago of Palawan Province in the Philippines.
The island is world famous among divers who visit to experience the area’s exceptional corals and abundant marine life as well as to explore 12 of the most iconic shipwrecks of the mid-20th century.
Huma Island itself is also steeped in mystical magic from the tip of its rainforest-covered mountains to the bottom of its primeval caves.

Come and enjoy the crystal clear water and white sand beaches in EL NIDO. =)

Boracay Island

Out of all the islands in the world, Travel+Leisure Magazine chose to name Boracay as its Best Overall Island of 2012.

Located in Malay, Aklan, Western Visayas, Boracay is just seven kilometers long, and less than a kilometer wide at its narrowest point – a postcard-sized tropical paradise.

Leisure activities

The White Beach in Boracay
Leisure activities available on or near Boracay include scuba diving, helmet diving, snorkeling, windsurfing, kiteboarding, cliff diving, and beach relaxation.

Boracay is the site of a 18-hole par 72 golf course designed by Graham Marsh. In addition, as of 2010, Boracay has in excess of 350 beach resorts offering more than 2,000 rooms ranging in quality from five-star to budget accommodation. In addition, Boracay offers a wide range of restaurants, bars, pubs, and nightclubs.
White Beach is composed of three sections.

The northernmost section – Station 1 – has the widest beachfront. This has the best (and most expensive) resorts and hotels.

The center of White Beach is Station 2. People come here to eat, shop, and party.

If you’re looking for a quieter area, then Station 3, the southernmost section, is for you.

Because the waters off White Beach are calm during Amihan season (November to May), tourism is at its peak during these months when the northeastern winds blow. Conditions reverse during the rainy season, when the Habagat or monsoon winds blow.

Jessica Elizabeth Sanchez

As one of the final two contestants on season 11 of American Idol, Jessica Sanchez rose to glory by belting out soaring ballads by the likes of Aretha Franklin and Whitney Houston.

Born August 4, 1995 and raised in Chula Vista, California, to parents, Editha (née Bugay) and Gilbert Sanchez. Her father is a Mexican American, originally from Texas, and is a US Navy veteran. Her mother is a Filipina from Samal, Bataan in the Philippines

Sanchez has worked on honing that vocal versatility for almost her entire life. “I started singing when I was two,” says Sanchez, who lists Mariah Carey, Etta James, and Ray Charles among her musical influences. Now, with her forthcoming debut album for 19 Recordings/Interscope Records, the 17-year-old songstress elevates her vocal artistry to a whole new level and channels her powerhouse pipes into high-energy, beat-soaked dance-pop.
Now gearing up for her album’s release in Spring 2013 and joining the cast of “Glee”, Sanchez is ecstatic to share her own music with the world. “The fact that I get to put out something that’s all my own is so exciting,” she says. “Music has always been what I want to do with my life, and these songs are all me.”
